Hannah received a BFA in Sculpture from the University of North Carolina Asheville. Post graduation, she worked for furniture maker Kyle Kidwell of Kidwell Fabrications in Portland, Maine.
She and her husband now live in Madison County, North Carolina. She is currently a Visiting Artist Lecturer at the University of North Carolina Asheville and makes custom work in the Grovewood Studios in North Asheville.
Hannah’s work places focus on the relationships we cultivate around the objects in our homes. With purposeful functionality and design she aims to bring awareness to the ways in which humans engage with their environments and with whom we share these spaces.
The landscape of Appalachia serves as the medium for both the work and its inspiration.
